I'm wondering if anyone can reccomend some nicer wine-related events, say $50 and up at the door. I prefer something on the peninsula, but anywhere in sf bay area is great.

I'm new to the area and want to find some good local events.

I went last year for the first time and had a blast. The list of wineries/chefs is quite impressive. Last year Heitz was pouring the Martha's Vineyard. I must have a drank a whole bottle myself.

Ok, now you only have the CIGARBQ left. It is worth the drive; unless smoke makes you sick. William Seylem pours at this event. I am going. It is a fun event.
