picky, picky, picky I just talked to Joe. (wineismylife) Your list look great. Lets get a feel of who is in on short notice, then select a theme. If we have a small group, BRING OUT THE BIG BOYS! We will pick a place near the airport. Joe will post details soon. I will e-mail you my cell number to keep with you. Michael

mattach, when you get a chance send me and email at joe(dot)dulworth(at)airmail(dot)net. I'll add you to my extensive wino email list. I'll send an email out to the Dallas forum members tonight. Right now the plan is to have a BYOB dinner at Red Sage Euro American Bistro in Southlake. Corkage is FREE! I'll shoot for a 6:30PM start time and let everybody know the details tomorrow evening. mattach, Red Sage should be approximately 10 minutes from your hotel. It is also North of the airport, on the west side of the airport opposite of Irving/Las Colinas. Joe

WIML, Sounds like the wines of the night will require proper stemware indeed. I do not want anything to limit what each wine has to offer. I will bring extra, Michael P.S. You have "good "wine" recall

Unfortunately I have bad wine recall as well. I'd definitely bring all of the glassware you can carry. They do not have good glassware there. Since we'll be drinking bigger wines I'll bring 4 Spiegelau Bordeaux glasses. That way mattach can have at least one. Joe

WIML, Not really sure we gave that wine a fair shot. To say our palates were tired might be an understatement

Looking over the "theme" seems to give me a liitle wiggle room. The "bring something others will enjoy, but not easy to find" allows me to bring a First or Second Growth Bordeaux IMHO. It is cab, but not New World as requested. I am thinking a Bordeaux from the 80's... Not to overlook the "theme", I will also bring a New World Syrah or Cab. Looking forward to meeting mattach! Michael
