Anyone want to get together afterward? Even if just for a beer at Fred's?

I can't be there for the pickup, but if it's still possible for you to get more of their Cab, I'd be grateful if you could get me 3 or 4 (or even 1 or 2), and bring them to Walla Walla. I never even thought until this moment about ordering WA wines that I could pick up while I'm down there. I'm kicking myself now.

Cheers.

Hey Seaq,

Are you interested in picking up a couple of extra QCs for some of your countrymen?

You guys might contact them thru their web site to see if you can buy some for me to pick up for you. Or I can ask while I'm there. Last year I think some people bought some magnums on the spot--supply & demand had flip-flopped from the year before & there were plenty.
Otherwise, I can most likely get some more retail a little later, perhaps (or not) at a better price.
I probably wouldn't take it to WW, since Seaquam will also be coming to Seattle...could arrange to get it by way of Queen or someone else at The Met, since I won't be coming back here.

I expect I'll have a bottle or two with me in WW, to drink there &/or the next week.

Sounds like Fox & I may get together at least.

I may be heading up for the release pick-up. If my schedule works out, I will be there and interested in getting together. If not, then I'll have to wait for them to ship it to me. Frown

So, brocolli, Mother says you're very good for me. Well, I'm afraid I'm no good for you!

They are sold out of the wine at the winery for shipping purposes. Recently I tried to purchase more and it was a no-go. Who knows, maybe they have some in reserve but it would probably be a long shot.

"Sold out" is right. They made it very clear to me that they are accepting no further orders at this time. Apparently, my sobbing didn't move them at all.

I was hoping that someone who is actually there might have an outside shot at getting an extra bottle or two, though it's highly unlikely.

Well, it's three days before the pick-up -- anyone want to get together at QC?

I'll be at QC sometime Saturday afternoon, but I may have one or more of the kids with me.

Yup. I'll probably be there around noon, but don't know yet if Wife will go or not. Fox was talking about the same time.
I'm leaning toward lunch & a pint afterward at Fred's Rivertown Alehouse in Snohomish, then probably mow the lawn. I had thought about having people stop by here, but the house isn't ready for it right now.... We're always open to yard tours, though, & we're right on some of y'all's way home.

RRV: I don't post my e-mail address, but Sir Willy has it.

Blobby: It was good sipping some wine with you and FredWilo at QC. Chatting with you reminded me that I need to get my butt (or at least my eyes) back on this board.

Laters,

Wino: Nice to chat at you, too. Smile And Fox.
I understand that RRV was there at the same time, but I didn't see anyone who looked like a red vine.
I came home & mowed the lawn, ho-hum. Also opened a bottle. The most dense, chunky QC yet, in my opinion. Nose is almost Port-like.
