I will bring the 1999 Araujo. Probably a Sauternes as well. I am lobbying for the Frenchman to bring some nice stuff. Should be fun!

Cheers,

I pulled the bottles from the cellar yesterday as I'm heading to SF for the 10th and 11th, Napa for the 12th - 15th.

Should be a fun week capped off with this off-line.

I did speak with Steve Sherwin and it looks I will be able to get an 01 for the tasting. If he is in a good mood, I will see if I can also get an 02 barrel sample put in a bottle....

Blue Oval, I got busy last week and totally missed calling Sams. I'm sure Pyang can work the vino me bottle down to me.

Well, I am back in Chicago after a wonderful trip to Napa. Just let me say this . . . Saturday night was one of the most memorable wine evenings I have ever had! Thanks everyone for your generosity, planning and conversation (and "patience" with my cousins - I should of counseled them on pours beforehand). I am still shaking my head. . .

I will post my "three days in Napa" story and TN's once I have time.

Unbelievable. Stay tuned.

Cheers,
Blue Oval
