Not expecting too many takers for this, as it's Valentine's Day.

Blue Oval, a member of the Chicago Wine Mafia is visiting the valley for a few days, so like to see if anyone would be interested in joining us for dinner.

Please RSVP NOW, reservations may be difficult to come by...

Since he's from the Chicago Mafia do we get to dress up like gangsters and have cool nicknames?

DJ,
You got it. Just remember our motto: "keep your friends close, but your wines closer . . ."

Hopefully you can make it.

Cheers,
Blue Oval

redwings,
I do not believe there is a theme (unless pyang decides on one), so I guess bring whatever you like - I will bring something but haven't decided what yet (although I am leaning towards a dessert wine, since everybody loves dessert wine!). Keep in mind that my group will consist of novices to wine geeks. . .

Looking forward to it!

Cheers,
Blue Oval

pyang,
I emailed a recap to my group and cc'd you - did you receive? There was a problem sending.

Also, is there only one All Seasons Bistro (1400 Lincoln Ave., calistoga)? Just want to make sure I show up at the "correct" location . . .

See everyone there!

Cheers,
Blue Oval

Blue Oval,

Pyang correct me if I'm wrong, but if you are heading up Highway 29 turn right at the light going into downtown Calistoga. At the next light, the restaurant should be on the far right corner. You can't get too lost as these are the only two lights I know of in Calistoga.

I see, Smile, put me down for a 99 Bryant. Will also throw in Sherwin Family Vineyards vertical of 98, 99, 00 and hopefully 01 (will see if I can get one of these on Friday) and a special port (you will just have to wait and see).

Pyang, what happened to DJ Hombre?

When I talked to DJ Hombre yesterday, he said to take him off the list, didn't go into details.

Maybe he's got a hot date that night instead... Wink

You guys are unfreaking believable. I have never had Bryant before. So, this is turning into one of those "life is good" events. Pyang - lets get two rooms; one for my cousins and one for us! Big Grin

Looking forward to meeting stealth and redwings, and seeing you again pyang.

I don't think I will be able to sleep tonight . . .

ps - redwings, I will be in the Twin Cities next week but will not have any "free" time . . .

Cheers,
Blue Oval
