There is a new “The Grape” wine bar in Phipps Plaza, which is about a mile north of where you are staying. If you find the wine list uninspiring, I’m sure watching the singles scene there and at the other well-heeled bars at Phipps, “The Tavern” and “Twist”, will keep skosh's eyes plenty busy. Big Grin

I bet skosh and Purple know this place. Eek

Forget the pre-dinner action, I think PH and I might be headed for a shoe show afterwards.

I can’t imagine. But we will have counsel among our party, so we have some wiggle room.

I just saw G&PN wine for this tasting on the WD site. Eek

Now that we see how the Atlanta group wants to play, it is time to get serious about our selections. Wink

Wine... Greeny, time to start posting the wines. G&PN declared on WD, and I think that should set the "standard" for the night. Big Grin

Since I'm down in Hot-Lanta anyway for work - I got permission and I'm in! Woo Hoo!

No comment on Mrs. Festiva - except every so often I find a scar that wasn't there the night before! I hope I still have that last kidney! Eek

I'll dig through the cellar this weekend and figure out what to bring. PH, if we can hook up sometime mid-next week, I'm happy to bring your vino in advance to let it settle.

Well you can drop me off on Peachtree
I got to feel that Georgia sun
And the women there in Atlanta
They make you awfully glad you come
I said watchin' them planes
I wish I was on one
I'm sittin' here thinking 'bout my crazy dream
If I could only be there tonight...

Oh Atlanta, Oh Atlanta!
I said yeah! yeah! yeah! Atlanta, got to get back to you.

Cool
