What a wonderful evening! Thomas and honey were exceptional hosts! Of course, the company was outstanding.
The wine gets a OMG!!!! Not a bum in the lot. That was a great concept Thomas. (Except I slept until 9:00 AM.) Sooner or later it all gets drunk. The only questions are, "By whom?" and, "When?" |

In summary We began with a 1995 Jacquessin Champagne which was well received The others: 1989 Margaux rated 99 and number 3 in 1992 2001 Paloma Merlot-Wine of the year in 2003 1998 Ornellaia-Wine of the year in 1998 1999 Guigal Chateau Neuf De Pape-Wine of the yeat in 2002 1999 Cinq Cepages runner up wine of the year in 2002 1997 Cinq Cepages--rated 96 1997 Tapestry-rated 21st in 2000 1999 Pine Ridge Cab--rated 4th in 2002 1996 Mondavi PR Cab-rate 9th in 1999 1998 Viader-rated 3rd in 2001 2001 George LaTour rated wine of the year by James Laube 1997 Il Pogigione-Brunello rated 93 14 bottles Each bottle was a delight--I felt sorry for the folks in Chicago because our Michigan wine experience was very special. |
