Does anyone know of any offlines scheduled in NYC or LI at the end of August?

We are planning a Long Island Off-line at the end of July,It is posted on the Parker board and we currently have a wait list but we will probably have another in the beg.of September.i will post here as well.There is also a Montelena dinner this monday posted on the Parker board and i believe there are a few spots left.

I would be very interested in hearing about any events that are scheduled either in NYC or CT. My husband and I are new to the board and have just recently started to build our colection following a trip to Napa/Sonoma at the beginning of July.

We started our collection after visiting napa an Sonoma as well.I believe some posters are thinking about a dinner in november so check the boards.Also there are more wine dinners posted on the parker board.We live on Long Island and could meet in NYC.I have been thinking about starting a 1999 californa cab dinner since it seem to be m favorite vintage.

Cindy, I would do almost any LI wine dinner that is available. There are VERY few LI'ers here.

I end up BYO-ing with friends all the time that are not members to either board. I am registered at ebob, but rarely post there.

We are forming a long Island wine group on LI.
Our first dinner is this Friday.I actually emailed you on the parker board about the dinner but you may not have received it.The dinner is filled but I wil let you know about the next one.Hope to meet you soon.

Please do keep me posted! We are always in the city and would do LI on the weekend. I would love to do a cab dinner. We also were contemplating a blind tasting party/dinner.

The dinner was posted on parker board and is going to be on October 14th on the Island probably in nassau county.I am still firming up the restaurant.If you are interested in attending please let me know .I will be away
from 9/1-9/12 so it is probably best to check out the parker board,erobertparker.com.The theme is 95 cal cabs high rated.Hope you can make it.If you let me know by tom.I will add you to the list.if not just check out the site.

Hope there is still an interest in the cab dinner.Let me know if you can make it on the 14th.
