We actually briefly talked about this one while in Chicago. I think some preliminary plans are already in place.

I have to change mine to +1. After this weekend, I think someone would feel really cheated if I didn't invite him along.

I told my wife about this one and she is ready to sign up. Thank goodness we have a year to figure out what to do with our 16 year old daughter while we are gone -- school will be in session so we can't take her along. Not sure we can find anyone brave enough to take on a teenaged girl for two weeks. We will be trying though.

As I have a daughter now, comment reserved.

Toss in "Lentini + 1", please, for 2009... in the likely group.

Lentini,

She is my daughter and there are some times when even I have a hard time facing the challenge.

Potentially "Epic" proportions.

We'll need an entire villa or two.

If this is to come to fruition, we'd better start looking for a place/places that can support such numbers. They fill up pretty quickly.

KSCO2-can you shoot me an email.

Uhh...... It was PH + 2, monsieur! Wink

Seriously, if even half this group decides to make this trip, DoktaP is right. We need to get cranking on a venue.

PH

There has been several casual conversations regarding this occasion.
Emails will likely be starting soon, to begin organizing this in a serious manner.

Thanks for continuing to include me in this offline. We are still very interested.

GlennK, nice to hear you're making the move to London. We'll have to organise an offline at some point before the big one next year. Let me know if you have any questions about London.

I won't know my travel schedule for next spring until the first of the year, but my wife and I are very interested in this off-line. I would add us to the "in" group. As long as work does not get in the way, we are in.

As far as venue goes I believe we have a place in the Tuscany region, don't we wine+art? Smile

I can only say with any certainty that I will not make the Spanish part. As for Italy, that depends on the date chosen. We are going to be there next year, when exactly is still undecided. There is no way that I could go with my family and a week later go back again. Although my wife did say something about me going alone if the dates don't match up with when we are there. It's still a year away, an awful lot can change in that time.
