MLV, hi, wow, what can I say, thank you, I'm blown away with your kindness and generous offer. You don't know us and yet you still invite us, you are a very special lady and thank you.

I'll ask my hubby, he is a little shy plus he is planning some photography outings and some are done at end of day so I have to ask him. No matter what, thank you. that is such a kind generous offer. So can I say 2 tentatively?
This is so nice. And please what do people bring?
I know I can buy whatever is requried once there, so please don't be shy about asking/telling.

WOW, thank you no matter what. It would be a pleasure to meet all of you.

MLV, having hung out here for almost a year, I would enjoy the opportunity to meet some of local forumites. Thanks for your generous invitation and put me down for two, though still tentative, given the time of year it is. Thanks. Now I have to hope that FSU keeps it respectable against UF, or Chile will have a field day. Also, any chance you will be at the Neal dinner later this week?

Excellent - this is shaping up nicely. Plenty of time to figure out the line-up of wines and menu.

mlv, this is getting kind of big and will probably get larger. I think we might be better of in a restaurant, no?

Just one more sip.

If we get too big, we can change it. I have no issue with the number (it's not like I don't always make too much food anyway!). I think if we get above 18 we'll find a restaurant option.

Hi,

Ok, hubby says that it's ok, if it's not hard to get to. He is a little leary of driving in a strange city.

I would be happy to bring wine except that I will have to buy it down in Fla. I'm sure there are good places to buy some nice wines. I probably would bring white and red if that is acceptable, and how many do you usually bring (how many bottles)?

So I guess I'm in and I'll still say tentatively since we are travelling and in case somthing came up last min or whatever as it's winter here.

A restaurant would be fine with us also.

I hope this is ok to reply this way and I hope that it's ok to not be able to tell exact wine.

Also do you have a dress code requirement? We are fairly relaxed but go with whatever is requried/expected

thank you again.

BLACK TIE ONLY. Just kidding. Come as you are. I understand not being excited to drive in a strage city, and they don't get too much stranger than Miami Razz We are pretty easy to find... will get you directions as it gets near.

Usually the standard is 1 bottle per person. Red and white is cool. Plenty of good places to shop down here!

Hi to all.

I would be happy to attend again. My collection has grown since I was there 2-3 years ago. I will likely be 2. Let me know as we get closer if you need any food.

Tentatively for 2, but the 26th might be tough depending on work.

OK folks, we are now at 20 (tentatively)... I have kept the list in the first post so it is easy to find...

All the people with ? are tentative. Please confirm as soon as possible so we can determine if we need to have it in a restaurant or not. Given the time of year, we will need to plan a little.

Hi MLV

Unfortunately I won't be able to confirm until the last min since we have to travel and it's winter. Plus should any issues arise that would prevent us from makeing the trip.

If this presents a problem, I fully understand and have no problems if you have to withdraw my name. I do not want to inconvenience anyone or make things difficult. I hope what I'm trying to say is coming out right.

Thank you for your understanding.

MLV,

I should know today to tomorrow if I can get the 26th/27th off. Mrs. Chile is wavering though as to if she can come down.

Hi,

MLV, I have to say that we won't be able to make it. I'm truely sorry.

My hubby asked if he could do something with his bird photography on the 26th and I said yes. He deserves to be happy with his hobby as he works hard all year and does a lot for me.

I'm truely sorry we won't be able to make it.

I would like to thank you for the generous invite and perhaps another time. Should you ever find yourselves up here in montreal (yes I'm American) please let me know and we would be happy to meet you.

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart and a very healthy and happy thanks giving to you and everyone here on the list and thanks again for all your wonderful dining suggestions.

OK, peoplei, it is practically December. Who's in and who's out? Let's eliminate some of those tentative/can't commit issues.
