Is anyone interested in a little after work happy hour this Friday (April 2). A coworker here at Wildman and I are planning on heading over to:

Morrells Restaurant
900 Broadway (at 20th Street)
Telephone (212) 253-0900

We were thinking about 5:30 pm. They have over 150 wines by the glass and I've wanted to revisit the place since I wrote an article about it for WS last Fall.

Hopefully we will have a better result than the last time we tried to plan an offline at the Fairway Steakhouse.

So is anyone interested? Speak up.

Hi Keith. A group of us get together perodically and we'd love to have you join us, but we need a lot more than a few days' notice. I hope you're doing well.

Just one more sip.

Mike,

We were just planning on ordering wine by the glass. Expensive I know; but, it was just more convenient.

Board-o and others, I am in on the next off-line in NYC or LI. I work in Hauppauge and live north shore suffolk.

Now that the brutal winter is over, hopefully something before the summer.

I hope that nobody is planning on attending this happy hour tonight because I do not think Keith will be there. This post was part of an April Fools prank.

Hi Lorraine. I knew there had to be somebody. Not too many LIers here. A few.

Hopefully some other "lurkers" will show themselves.

It doesn't sound like anybody was planning on it. Enjoy your stupid little kiddie games. Hopefully, eventually you'll grow up.

Lorraine and Hunter, we've found a great place in Nassau County that, at least temporarily allows BYO. The food was excellent. We'll be away next week, but maybe we can arrange a dinner sometime in mid to late April.

Just one more sip.

Lighten up, Francis. You can be such a stick in the mud Board-O. Just once in a while try laughing, it's good for you.

Yes, but I came here for an argument.

Oh! Oh! I'm sorry, this is abuse.

I laugh at something that's funny. I don't laugh at something that's puerile and stupid. My kids are too old for brainless crap like this. I'm very happy for you that you enjoy it. I come here to read about wine. A little colloquial distraction is also OK. Apparently I discriminate a bit more than you do. Not surprising. I bet you watch cartoons and read comic books.

Just one more sip.

Actually, The Simpsons is one of my favorite TV shows. So, yes, I do watch cartoons.

As for your sense of humor and your kids I guess when I get to be a stodgy old fart like you I may stop laughing too. For the next 50 years or so until I reach that age I'll try to keep laughing.

it's human normality, that people implicate there
own life-attitude into there interpretation!

but, it's ok, i do understand peoples Razz

i would suggest, people should bet on horses, there
chance to win is highter! Wink

what that Frown ment was, i'm saddish that i can't
be there.

i also like to read about wine! Smile
and try to give helpfull advice to people who ask.
but i still do not waste my time trying to write
(please keep i mind that english is 4th language
i learnt, and that only with a 6 month course)
someting "useless" to every topic! Eek

so sometimes i do add just a graemlins to say:
- Smile nice, i'm happy to it
- Frown i'm saddish to it
- Big Grin super, i have fun for/with you
- Cool that's cool man!
and so forth.

hopfully this will be accepted/understood Smile
