Alright, unless the flaky buddy of mine throws me a curve ball, looks like we will be in Vegas for that weekend, arriving on Saturday.

Anyone else coming?

I'll be there the next weekend with some non-wino buddies. If anyone's around then I could handle an offline.

Sapril,

I think Pinot Envy is looking into this.

Not really expecting too much response as the group was just in Vegas the weekend before Labor Day.

Probably will have couple of other friends joining me as well.

If you want to come out, bring a friend or two, more the merrier. Big Grin

Sapril,

My question to you is...how many guys do you...wait, not may not be an appropriate question to ask. Red Face

Seriousily, not sure who's coming at this point, suspect I may know more in a week or so.

What's holding you up?

Okay, to entice some SoCal forumites to come out and play or anyone else for that matter, I will host a 12-year vertical tasting of Beringer Private Reserve, 1988 - 1999.

To make sure we have enough people to consume these wines, like to see if there are at least 6 of you So Cal folks that would like to come out.

It's off-season, traffic can't be that bad... Wink

Wrong on both counts, my friend!

Football season is definitely the High Season in Las Vegas. During the Summer, they give away the rooms...

And there is a 24/7 construction zone just southwest of the Devore cutoff that will cause huge traffic jams for the next 6 weeks.

But, if wifey will let me come out to play...

Nah, she'll never do that. Not during the Holiday Season for the wineshop...

Still, the 12 bottle vertical is very intriguing... The early Beringer Private Reserves (and Lemmon-Chabot Vineyard Cabs) were the ones I stained.. er, cut my wine newbie teeth on...

Well...

Found out it would cost me 40,000 AMEX points and $150 to change the reserveation to next year. So I suckered RedRedVine to fly-in and join me. Wink

Want to come play? Big Grin
