I'll be in NYC with the last week of April and was wondering if anyone was interested in meeting up for an offline? Any suggestions etc.

I know a lot of good restaurants in NYC but I don't know about BYOBs or anything. I've not lived there for a long time.

There are plenty of places that offer no corkage or low corkage..

What type of theme were you thinking??

Steak and american cab?

We love Dylan Prime if that gives you an example that is one of our favorite restaurants.

pretty sure dylan prime is not BYOB at all.

I don't know since I don't live there anymore we don't do a BYOB just for ourselves.

I was using that restaurant as an example of what I was thinking.

I should have said, steak and american reds instead of limiting it to cabs.

Dylans was merely an example of a type/style of resto.

Are you interested in any type of this theme as a get together?

I do know that Compass offers some crazy half price corkage, I think or something like that on Sunday. How long will you be down??

A little over a year ago, we did a steak based offline at Keens, I believe that we negotiated down to $10 per bottle corkage.

That would work for me.

Anyone up for Keens Steakhouse and Cabernets?

I would say American Cabs but we can just do Cabs?

I'm in NYC for a full week but wed and thurs are already booked with theatre ticks.

Week of April 26 - May 4th.

I would be up for Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. I will be two Peeps. Is this just Cali Cabs or will meritage be allowed?

Let's plan on Sunday April 27th Keens steak house and yes meritage is fine. 6:30 - 7pm?

I think keeping it broad gives a good chance for broader taste.

What to join us thanks for the suggestion about Keens. I don't live there anymore so I'm not that knolegeable about BYOB, I go down 2x a year but for 2 of us don't bother.
