Otis,
I'd love to come meet all the folks from here and enjoy a few wines. Being from the area, I need to make friends that enjoy wine, most of my friends don't. I know its a long shot, but please add me to the wait list.

Otis,
Unfortunately I have to back out - I will be in Argentina unexpectedly. I do appreciate your invitation, and (renowned) generosity, and hope to make it next time. Anyway, I know that my fellow Texans (W+A, WIML and Skosh) will represent! Smile Enjoy,
Craig

napaccoast: you are now on the main list. Can you make it?

chuq_2001: I put you on the waiting list.

MLV: glad to hear you are locked and loaded! I look forward to meeting you and JC. Cool

MLV and any other out-of-towners. I've been checking Hotwire for the past month looking for deals on hotels. There are fewer choices now than there were when I first checked, so I decided to pull the trigger. The 4 star Gold Coast hotel for $153/night is the Sofitel on Chestnut St.

Thanks. We actually booked (but can cancel if we change our mind or find a better deal) at the Ambassador East Hotel - $161 a night, less if you have AAA I beleive. Emilio had already booked there, so I thought I would as well.

Looking forward to seeing/meeting everyone!

Now, how are we getting to Otis' from there???

Both of those hotels are in good locations. I like the Sofitel a little better- it's newer and really right off Michigan Ave, whereas the Ambassador is a little older (I don't know when rooms were redone in either of these) and is a few blocks away.

I will look into shuttling the crowd. I'll make some phone calls in the next day or two. I'll actually start a new thread about this to guage interest.

We'll get 'em next year!

Otis,

After much reflection, I will have to let my spot go to the next on the list.

I have not being able to settle my work responsibilities for that weekend and feel that it would be wiser to let someone else have my spot with enough time to make travel plans.

I thank-you a lot for offering to open your home and cellar to us.

I have wanted to come to one of your CDP's since you started them and thought I would have made it happen this time.
Maybe next time !!

Thanks !

Sorry you can't make it Vinaigre. Missing one from the Montreal crew. Frown Hopefully I'll get to see you some time this next week in town.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it. Please remove my name from the list, and some lucky person on the waiting list will get a chance to go.

Sorry, until next time

There have been a few drop-outs in the past few days. In addtion to Vinaigre and carriedca, BHVineyard has to do some traveling for work and can't make it either. Hope you all can make the next one!

That means that indybob, bman, and Altaholic move onto the main list. Please let me know if you can make it.

Otis,

Two more spots open. Some stuff came up on my calendar, so unfortunately I won't be able to make it out. Someone else will have to eat my share of White Castle at 2am. Frown
