Killer B - anyway you can grab one day and come out to Long Island this time, since you'll be in NY for a while. I would be very flexible to do almost any night if you did (except Saturday or Sunday). We could even do an early thing. I have 5 or 6 great places we could go to and a few with 0 corkage.
It's just real rough getting to NYC for me during the week.
Jump in the T-Bird mobile? I don't know if he actually drives a T-Bird.

would love to see ya. my wife is in la until the 12th, and i know hardly anyone around here(!), so like hunter, might i extend an invite to visit park slope? we have some great restaurants around here(applewood, blue ribbon, etc) plus we can raid my vinotemp at will!
either way, i am up for anything, anywhere, anytime.

Right, so we're here and now have sorted out what we're doing for the week. It's actually the third day without any rain - woo hoo. Didn't get one last time. Got here on Saturday and the possiblity of an off-line then was a no-no. I went for an afternoon kip at 4 and got up at 8... on Sunday.
Looks like Thursday is a good evening if anyone is still interested.
I don't mind wandering over to Long Island, now that I know where it is. "I took my wife to Long Island"... "Jamaica?"... "No, it was her idea, actually" boom boom!
Sorry to miss you, Killer. Thursday is a Seder night and we leave for vacation the following morning. I hope to catch up with you and Mrs. Killer again on your next trip.
Just one more sip.

Sorry to miss you too but Saturday would have been a case of me falling asleep after one glass. I'd had only four hours sleep before the flight, and can't sleep on Planes, combined with the jet-lag I was a goner.
kb, i'm probably in(thursday). my wife gets back from LA very late wednesday night, so i'm not sure if she'll be up to wining/dining yet tho. did i give you my cell(i killed those brain cells a long time ago)?

TBird - Lady K will not be joining us either, she is having a Girl's night out with a friend. I don't remember having your moby number.
I'm not overly bothered about the standard of food, I had a pizza the size of Tinmes Square last night and I thought it was fantastic. Still got some left, even after breakfast.
I've brought no wine with me so I will be popping out to the multitude on 2nd Avenue, trying to find something nice (Marquis Phillips Shiraz tonight was acceptable).
ok, i'll cover the wine for thursday, w/out the wives? early-ish? 6:30? andavi? i've been twice, once with landshark, corkage $20. also had an offline with hunter and gang at i coppi. i was only there that once, but it was good and worth it and i have been wanting to try again. being thursday, we could get in alot of places we normally couldn't, maybe babbo?
or we can meet for drinks at morrells. what area are you staying at?

I can pretty much walk to the second of those and navigation isn't too difficult. I'm at the same hotel as before above the UN - Millennium Plaza.
Yes - no wives. I will let you get the still wine but I can always get hold of a bottle of fizz in a town like this and I can chill it. We'll sort the rest out when we get there.
Just popped out to get a fizz. Nearly bought a whole bottle of Veuve before realising that if it's only two people that will take some time. Got a half and a half of a New Zealand Ice Wine - should go well with pud.
