The past is the past is the past. It's time to move on, keep the momentum going and plan another event. Otherwise we will just drift off into our day to day routines...
I'm going to suggest that we get together in the City, at a restaurant, perhaps during the week of November 2-6th? Any takers? Maybe something different, like Pinot Noir?

It is hard for me to commit 100% right now, but I would deffinitely be interested. Also, I love the Pinot theme. Italian and Rhone would also be good theme ideas, imo...

I would be intersted in attending. Looking forward to the details. Just hope my cellar is worthy of participating depending on the choice of the evening.
Don't have alot of Pinot but could offer a Rivers Marie.
Here's the chatter. Looks like we have about 3-4 more that will attend from another board and it's shaping up to be back in the East Bay. Which makes sense since this is titled "East Bay Offline."
Recommendations on location?
Shooting for a mid week event, possibly Wed Movember 5th.
Can everyone make that date?

While I suggested Pinot, it kind of depends on the restaurant food. I'm open to suggestions. Bordeaux? Cabernet? Pinot? Something else?
Hey tanglenet, Head's been down in harvest, and I didn't realize the topic heading was Offline "II" so I missed the thread. I am pretty sure I'll be up for an offline. The week of November 6th, I also believe the wife is in town, so she'll be in also. Mark me down for two....

This cafe has a nice atmosphere, not too expensive and is wine friendly. Also, about 3 blocks from the downtown Berkeley BART station. I will find out more details hopefully on Monday when the manager calls me back to discuss details.
In terms of size, as far as I'm concerned, the more the merrier. Let's wait until we confirm the location before we decide on a theme.
