I know it's already a busy off-line month for you guys, but I will be in the TO area for a few days and as always would be interested in a get together. Wednesday the 6th or Thursday the 7th, the latter being the slight preference. Let me know.

I'm sure we can figure something out, steve. Either out or dinner at someone's place. Doesn't matter to me.

I'd be happy to host, if you're staying downtown.

I would be interested in attending on either of those dates if you'll have me.

We'd be happy to have you, andrew. I know basecadet is in as well, so that makes four of us.

Let's plan for a 7:30pm start at my place. Andrew, send me an email at your convenience and I'll give you directions et al.

My address is my posting name at rogers.com.

Steve,

I'm going to try to do as much stuff as possible on the BBQ. Likely steak, maybe veal or lamb. Maybe some eggplant and polenta as well.

Not sure about apps. Bring whatever you like.

Send me an email with where you're staying and I'll get back to you ASAP with directions.

Glad you had a good time, andrew, and that you were finally able to make it out to an offline! Hope to see you out again soon.

Always a pleasure to have the regulars over as well. Will post the wines and notes tonight.

Another excellent wine evening with members of the TWC. Thanks for hosting Futronic, good seeing everyone and meeting you Andrewf. I would say the Allegrini La Poja was my WOTN.

I would write the list, but I can't recall all the details. Fut definitely has them all.

Sorry for the delay ... here's the wine list:

2003 Planeta Chardonnay
2002 S.A. Huet Vouvray Demi-Sec
1997 Altesino Alte d'Altesi
1996 CVNE Imperial Rioja Gran Reserva
2001 Grant Burge The Holy Trinity
1998 Allegrini La Poja
1991 Croft Vintage Port

My WOTN was the La Poja, even though I thought it was a little young. Will show better in a couple years. The Holy Trinity was a close second on my list.

Notes to come eventually.

Al,

I've posted notes on the CVNE. The rest will have to wait until I get a bit of time to play catch-up.
