Hi guys.

After tomorrow's Spanish tapas offline with the Seaquams and KillerB I have a bothersome gap of some three weeks plus, before my next scheduled London offline.

This won't do!

I need to visit each of the Cork and Bottle, El Vino (never been there yet), and perhaps 2 or 3 other wine bars whose names escape me before I leave town in 5 weeks. Please help by picking a night (or two or three) on which we can hit at least one (or two or three) of these.

If you have my private email feel free to respond there if you prefer that for some reason.

Hey Bman - welcome to sunny (???) London, home of the 2012 Olympics.

I'm down at Cornwall this weekend, and working nights on Monday and Tuesday of next week. I then have Wednesday and Thursday off, and am working a standard day shift on Friday, so would be up for an offline any of those evenings. Vats wine bar in Lambs Conduit St is another wine bar I've been eyeing off the last few months - nice looking menu.

Will have to have you over for dinner as well - maybe with KB, Bird and partners - see what we can organise with my impossibly crowded schedule over the next five weeks.

Have a great night with SeaQ and co. Wish I could be there. Frown

Bman - a good idea.

My schedule is pretty choppy for the next few weeks though. Am available July 29-30th then some time the week following (first week of new job tho'). Otherwise, am indisposed, travelling and just taking it easy.

BirD

KB - as much as I support the baiting of our nearest rivals for the bid, I would hardly call Coventry the host city. Razz

The country is hosting it, not just the city.

Hmmm. Seems we will find it difficult to get us all together any time soon, though the first week of August looks possible.

July 29 is not great for me only because I am having lunch with Simon Berry that day and will probably not be able to drink another drop for at least 24 hours afterwards. But Saturday July 30 should be good!

Of course, it would still be fun to go drinking one (or more) evening(s) with as many of you as possible before then, since it's still three weeks away. What about next Wednesday or Thursday (presuming that normality has returned to the metrop by then). Of course, we'd have to home in time for Big Brother..... WinkEek Roll Eyes

Orla (is that how you spell her name? Confused) seems nice. And friendly....

Hope they'll be drinking heavily again soon....
