Not really off-line, but I was wondering if any of you here play games online. Gun? Call of Duty2? Anyone? Smile

Did you get your kids an X-Box 360?

I have played PC games online but for some reason I do not enjoy them as much as the games themselves. The last one I played was the multiplayer for Half Life 2 and the update version of Counterstrike. I lost interest pretty quick. I have a feeling that new Ghost Recon will be pretty cool.

Don't myself play any games. 1st person shooter stuff makes me green. Eek My better half occasionally does the xBox or PC thing. He loved Call of Duty 1,2, Halo, Half-Life(s), Unreal Tournament and lately has been dabbling with a (lesser known?) one, Oblivion? Guys at work mentioned "Eve Online", but he said the # of hours you'd have to play to get good is particularly outrageous.

Oh, I almost forgot, at Christmas I killed everyone at xBox karaoke. (Apparently, I'm a ringer. How mortifying.) But, we also have xBox Live. So, the next day at work, the guys who work with my husband were like, "Dude, you were on Karaoke for, like, four or five hours. (Snigger Snigger.)" Just imagine the respect and cred he got over that one. Friends and I had been logged in as him. We didn't know who we were logged in as. Had just started mucking around, singing our lame guts out. Smile Nobody told me The Others would be watching. Cool

Edited because I'm an idiot...

I don't know that one, Aries, but I am kind of new to this all.

My only problem ... the damn kids are too f'n fast. They pump your guts full of lead before you can even realize which side you are on. Big Grin Big Grin But that only makes revenge sweeter. When I clip that pimply bastard, lets say his name is BorisTheBlade, or 3kittens, or Comrade Death, with my sniper rifle from a rooftop somewhere in Tunisia, I feel like I finally achieved something in life. Big Grin Big Grin

Grunhaser,
I think one of the best video games ever made was Ninja Gaiden. If they made an oline version of that it would be awesome. If it is compatible with XBOX 360 you may want to check it out. They rereleased it as Ninja Gaiden Black.

I must admit... I had to look up what "tea-bagging" was. Eek Eek
That's it, I am wearing a hockey mask while battling these pimple-poppers. Thanks for the warning.

Actually, I think the real trick is to apply the tea-bags just before fragging him / her / it. However, none of the games seem to graphically depict this maneuver in its true glory (fortunately).
