It is a good theme as it does give freedom to pick red or white, and a few different regions. I will give it my endorsement. Do the rest of you like that idea?

the 12th or 13th is good for me... maybe the 27th... Otherwise, I think work commitments will get in the way... I have never been to the southern hemisphere.. Would love to...

Southern hemisphere could be an interesting experiment, although it's a little limiting for my cellar (Chile, New Zealand and Australia). Maybe a '02 Don Melchor and a '04 Two Hands Bella's or Lily's?
Not sure that Sean T will be a big fan of this concept, since it will surely be red heavy.

13th might work for me, I get back to SD that day at 3:30. 26th would be OK too, I fly back to AR on the 27th. But, you all pick a date and I will just see if I can make it.
I will drink no wine til it's in my glass!

Hey Blue Bohe'me can seat a large table (rectangular) for up to 15 at 5 on Sat.. A new Kensington bistro of Beltran's that we have been very happy w/their dinners in the past. Corkage is $20.00..

Here another choice for a venue. Always good food in Ab-Normal Hts... Adams Ave. Grill and their corkage is a measly 8 bones.. They said they could handle our rowdy crowd of 10-15 too...

Seems to me that Adams Ave. Grill offers some better menu matches for Southern Hemisphere wines than the French-themed Blue Bohe'me. Maybe keep Blue in our hip pocket for a future event. I sure would like to eat there some time.

Anybody that has $8 corkage gets my vote. Also, I'm picking my parents up from the airport on Saturday. Don't know what time yet, but they probably won't come if it's on Saturday. Sunday we could all be there.
Who do you have to probe around here to get a chardonnay?
