Either Saturday works best for me.

Don't know of any conflicts on any of those days as yet. And since I've got a new toy to show off (yawn - a big, brown box) we might host this one.

I hope that I can make this one.. I am free the 12th or 13th..

May 13th is probably not a good idea for me (Mother's Day).

I am working May 19th.

May 12th might be Ok. I will check with Blue gal if that ends up being the date we end up shooting for.

12th is looking good for a number of people. We're making progress.

Once again, I'm an idiot. Mother's Day will consume the weekend of the 12th for us. The 19th is still ok, though.

Mother's Day weekend won't work for us either.

The weekend of the 19th will depend on location, day and time.


I have always wanted to see one of those "big brown boxes", and have considered doing one myself, but don't think I'm handy enough to pull it off properly.

Is another pushback in order, 19th seems bad for a few, last weekend in May maybe?

I can only do the dates in the title. So, no 20th, 26th or 27th. The 19th is still good.

It's a physical job, but doesn't require much handiness. Just keep things aligned, drill holes and screw things in place. Oh, and work a caulk gun. 'Bout it.

Yeah Whine-oh, it really is hard to to pick a day where every single person can make it. I know for myself that I want as many people as possible to come to any offline we have, I am pretty sure that is how the others feel as well. No matter what there is always someone who cannot make it. Pushing back the date is worthwhile if more people can make it. But sometimes if you move the date back it just results in different people not being able to make it. It is still worthwhile to try and arrange and go to these things. It is just that not every person will make every event. For example, I really wanted to go to that one at Wine Joe's country club, but I just could not. In fact, that is about the 3rd one that I was unable to attend. Quite honestly, I am not even a very busy person, I could probably do two offlines a month. It is just the cordinating with others that makes it hard. It can be a little frustrating, but don't let it discourage you.

So should we aim for the 19th? I know red guy is working, but it seems to work for a lot of people. Otherwise, if the 26th or 27th works the best for everyone I'll just make the next one.

26th and 27th - No. Stick in the mud Mother in law visiting . God, I will need a drink. Maybe I can sneak away for it. It will require a lot of political capital to pull this one off.

In fact we are trying to narrow down a date for May. Is 19th, 26th or 27th good for you? It is sort of being done like a poll.

19th here. I'll be in Oregon doing a tour of wine country the 24th-28th.

Sounds like the 19th is pulling into a comfortable lead.
