Looking for a knowledgable group of people who are interested in forming a tasting group maybe once a month here in Southern CA. Preferably the Santa Monica, Manhattan, Redondo, Hermosa Beach area. Everyone brings a bottle paired with a appetizer, and comments can be written about each wine served.

You might want to wander over to Wino Depot and ask when the next CRS off-line will be. They're in your area.

Akbar Restaurant in Santa Monica has BYO tastings every week, alternating Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I go about once a month. It's a fun group. The theme each week is announced via email. If you're willing to post your email, I can forward you the current schedule.
