It's not worth it. Sorry for stooping.

Just one more sip.

Does anybody want anybody else's email addresses? It seems kinda fruitless to have this sort of exchange in public.

KoH, you've apparently made allusions to the 6/2001 dinner (the first major offline for Wine Spectator forumites, that even got written up in the Wine Spectator magazine) that Board-O primarily put together. I was there at his table, and understand your reference.

I'm pretty sure that Board-O's email address hasn't changed since then, but I'd be happy to send it to you so you can conduct this increasingly-embarrassing exchange in private if you'd like.

As for those that weren't at that dinner, I could provide publicly available email addresses for "both sides" if you feel a need to communicate to one or the other. Just send me an email at stemor(at)aol.com and I'll try to fill requests as appropriate.

cheers, y'all!

I love when you do that! Smile

In an effort to wrest this back:

Apparently you can still access the beginning portions of the Tasting Note thread at:

http://forums.winespectator.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=9306023451&f=3146091161&m=80460994&r=81760994#81760994

So the notes are not lost.

Bwahaa haaa haaaa!

How about tomorrow you blowhard.

Next time you are in Social, King of Hypocrites, you give me a call.

We have mutual acquaintances that can make your wishes come true you inebriated buffoon.

You are truly a tragic person. Funny but tragic nonetheless. As I recall, you are the one who started threatening others and myself. Of course I’m sober more than you so my recollection is undoubtedly better.

Sorry stemor, the hypocrite chooses to take pokes at people in public. Unfortunately that means he gets ridiculed in public.

Anyone want odds that I don't get a call? He's just too busy covering professional wrestling. Big Grin

Sorry Rothko,

I'll bow out now and let the drunken soliloquy begin. Wink

Anyone up for another one of these in late July? KoF, feel free to join in. I expect to be down there with my wife the last week in July or the first week in August.

Just one more sip.

I am new to the forum and live in South Florida. I was wondering how this event went and if there was any discussion of doing another one. I wish I had found this earlier.

Also, anyone know of any good wine clubs or other events in South Florida?

Welcome to the Forums.

Yes, we posted tasting notes after the April dinner. I think I posted a link earlier to them.

As far as another, we are planning an offline in July in Palm Beach. I'll post soon, so keep an eye out for it.

For my first off-line I felt that the April dinner at Johnny V in Fort Lauderdale was a great experience. I'm looking forward to further opportunities to meet interesting people and drink great wine. Regards, Gary
