We'll go with whatever the majority decides, though I have to be there if I'm to bring these wines. I'm expecting to have a dinner planned with the owner of one of Priorat's greatest wineries sometime in that period. I may ask her to join us. We'll do it in Manhattan. In your email, be sure to let me know your moniker. When it comes time to make the reservation, you'll have to commit since a deposit may be necessary.

Send me an email. I'm going to keep all the emails I receive together and will respond as soon as we can agree on a date.

Just one more sip.

This is getting pretty large. We'll need two bottles of each wine. I've edited the post above to indicate those who'd like to come. I'm waiting to hear from a Priorat winery owner to see if she might join us, so I'll get back to all of you.

Just one more sip.

No, so far we can get everybody in. I'm still waiting to hear from the winery owner. She's likely on vacation because she always responds quickly.

Just one more sip.

I just received an email. They're busy with the harvest in Priorat and expect this year to be another great vintage for the remarkably consistent region.

They will be in NYC for a celebration of 10 years owning the winery. That will be on Thursday, October 30th and they are leaving NYC on Sunday, November 2nd. If they are able to free up the time to join us (I'm waiting for a reply to an email I just sent.), it would have to be on Saturday, November 1st. If they are unable to make the November 1st date, we can schedule any date that most of us prefer.

Just one more sip.

Sounds incredible Board-O but unfortunately I'll be out of town on that date. I'll still be paying attention in case an alternate date comes about.

I haven't forgotten about this, but I'm still waiting to hear back from Priorat. They're very busy with the harvest.

Just one more sip.

sorry to miss it if it is 11/1. board-o, are you combining the cali winery with the priorat winery as a singular offline, or are you speaking two different ones? Confused

My wife and I are going to the October 30th celebration. It's by invitation only. I'm trying to see if she can join us for an offline on November 1st, the only Saturday she'll be in NYC on this trip. I'm guessing she probably won't be able to. In that case, we'll pick a date that's best for most of us.

Just one more sip.

My interpretation is one offline.

I still haven't heard back and I'll be out of the country til next week. As soon as I hear anything, we'll all pick a date, but if Marta can join us, I'm pretty sure it'll have to be November 1st.

Just one more sip.

We'd don't need a theme at this point. Let's see who's coming and what the date is first.

Just one more sip.
