I was sent some wine from a winery in CA with the promise that I and maybe a few others would review them on this site. I also was given another bottle by a different winery owner to be shared at an offline. I can't do this for probably more than a month. Anybody up for a dinner maybe late October or early November on a Saturday night?

Just one more sip.

I'd be interested in some wine tasting and meeting some forumites for the first time. November works for me as well. Let me know if you need my email.

Maybe a BYO dinner in the city? I have two bottles of white and one of red from the wineries.

I don't know. Let's see who's coming after we pick a date and then we can decide. I figure the winery bottles should be tasted blind. I'll know what they are so I won't say anything until after everybody else gives their opinion.

Just one more sip.

If you gentlemen and ladies (if applicable) would be willing to accept a new-comer in the mix, I would very much like to attend.

Sure, a large group is fine, but I'd like everybody to get to try these three wines.

Just one more sip.

Thank you Board-O. Just let me know the when, where and the theme and I am sure I can come up with something interesting to add to the beverage mix.

Board-O, excellent idea, I'd definitely be interested. Let me know what the theme is and I'd be happy to contribute. I can't make the first weekend in November as I'll be in Arizona meeting up with another forumite but every other weekend works.

If you are interested in attending, please email me at chemocurtis@hotmail.com and let me know which of these dates are good for you- 10/18, 11/1, 11/8, 11/22. We'll go with whatever the majority decides, though I have to be there if I'm to bring these wines. I'm expecting to have a dinner planned with the owner of one of Priorat's greatest wineries sometime in that period. I may ask her to join us. We'll do it in Manhattan. In your email, be sure to let me know your moniker. When it comes time to make the reservation, you'll have to commit since a deposit may be necessary.

Just one more sip.
