I was at Lewelling yesterday and was talking to Dave about the possibility of hosting a Lewelling dinner. It would be great to get together with him and Doug and taste through a vertical. Dave said he'd be interested, but the best time for him wouldn't be until next December or January. The idea would be to have a fixed price dinner, something like $100 a head including tax and corkage. Hopefully we could put together a good vertical between us and ask Dave and Doug to fill in any gaps.
At this stage I'm just trying to gauge the level of interest. Also if you have any older vintages that you can contribute, please let me know.

I understand that there are 12 vintages of the regular Lewelling (1992-93, 1995-2004) In 1994 they were replanting and so none was made, which is a shame as it was a bloody good year. There are 7 vintages of the Wight (1997-99, 2001-04).
