I can't guarantee it, but there's a good chance I'll be in town that week.

I'll be in Florida with Mrs. Slan and the kids for part of that time, but the weekend of March 17 is particularly good for me, since I'll be a bachelor and the rest of the family will still be down south.

How does the 17th or 18th work for you, bman? My flight returns home at 5:00 on the 17th, so anytime after 7:00 or 7:30 that night should work well for me. The 18th is also wide open.

It'd be great to have you join us tannic bastard. You might even consider joining us for our 2nd anniversary extravaganza and meet even more of the 'cru".

Fantastic, thank you. I'm going to pass on the extravaganza, although I have stalked that thread a few times now and it looks like it will be mad fun.

The 17th is St Patrick's Day, in case anyone needs to be observant. I am good to go for either day, but I will refuse any wine with green food colouring added to it. Razz

Unless we go away snowboarding or somewhere warm (slim chance of this), count me in for 2.

I cannot yet confirm a date, but March 17 looks as good a date as any, if we are going to be in Toronto at all. It looks likely at the moment.

We would either be downtown or somewhere off the 401 (airport, Markham), using some of our Marriott points, if that affects venue choice. We'd prefer to be close to the restaurant, and probably prefer being downtown, all things considered. How about Boba? If this is not good for any reason, please say so.

I've penciled in March 17. We can chat about venue, theme, etc. once you've firmed up your trip, but Boba would be fantastic.

I'd love to come. Can't vouch for StarBabe yet, though.

btw, there's a Marriott right near downtown on Bay St. near the Eaton Centre.

Sorry for the delay in confirmation but we are still working on whether we will be coming to Toronto or not. It still looks likely.

We will probably stay at the Courtyard by Marriott on Yonge Street if we come, unless we find a better March Break or other deal at another Marriott property.

I'd be very interested in the joining this offline. It'll be great to meet Bman and share a glass or two of VP!

We can have a port extraveganza. Just bring cheeses and desserts. We can call it the "arrive skinny; leave bigger" offline.

Just think:

oodles of chocolate, creme brulee and soft cheese a mile long.....

Ports of all varieties; from VP to ruby, tasted blind to see who can identify the year, producer....

Gluttony at its finest. Weightwatchers would be envious.

Just a thought...... Big Grin

An offline on St. Patrick's day? The only day when you should drink nothing but beer. That's so wrong... Eek

FYI, a few of us got an email from bman yesterday. It seems he's having trouble logging on to the WS Forums, but nevertheless it looks like March 17 is a go. Given his hotel arrangements, a downtown venue has been requested.
