We've got what we think is an exciting line-up of things planned for the upcoming Russian River Barrel Tasting on March 3, 4, and 5th.
Friday March 3rd is certainly the most mellow day. We will be pouring virtually all of the wines that we will be pouring on Saturday and Sunday but without any of the "wine celebrities" that will be showing up the next two days. We will also be offering the same special pricing as on Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday March 4th we have:
- Steve Heimoff, West Coast Wine Enthusiast Editor and author, signing (and selling) his superb book about the Russian River, "A Wine Journey Along the Russian River."
- Marci Keefer and her son Craig will be here pouring the 2005 Siduri Keefer Ranch Vineyard Clone 23 Pinot Noir. This is a special, very limited bottling we will be doing of this fascinating Pinot Noir clone. We will be selling it on Futures.
- Tom and Kelly Parsons will be here pouring the 2005 Novy Parsons Vineyard Syrah. This is a really neat Syrah that we discovered (thanks to Mike Officer) from the Russian River Valley. We actually did 100% whole cluster fermentation on this one and it is turning out to be something special. We will also sell this on a Futures basis.
On Sunday, March 5th the Keefers and Parsons will be around but don't know that Steve Heimoff will be here.
Of course, on each day we will be pouring many, many other wines and there will be "Adam's table" where I will be pouring enough new things to drive all of the retail folks batty.
Best thing is the cost is Free if you bring your own glass. Buy a glass at the door and it runs $5. Many other wineries are participating, too. We are open from 10am - 4pm all three days.
If you have any questions drop me an email at adam@siduri.com or call us at 707-578-3882.
We hope you can make it.
Thanks,
Adam Lee
