Sounds like our house, only ours was built in 1821. Dining room? What's that?

Wish we could join you guys, but I'm in school that morning. Damn that sucks!

What time are you guys thinking? I'm in class until 4, and that's probably a good 3 hour drive...then of course there's that little thing called work the next morning...LOL! Would be a hard sell! Move it to Dover and we're there! LOL!

We typically start around 7. Eff work. You work for the government, ergo we are your employers. We grant you the day off! We'll also give you an early out from class....

I think Wilmington would be doable! Not sure if there was sarcasm there however...plus that would make some long drives for all parties involved. Please don't even consider moving it on our behalf. If anything, move it to a Friday or Saturday night! Big Grin I tell ya though, we'd kill to get together with you guys, and with Paul and Stef as well.

Wish I could "F work" PH, but that's the week I am out processing the military, so if I blow it off, that's one more day I gotta stay in! LOL!

05 March baby! My last day on active duty! Woo hoo!

I'll be bringing a 2001 Shafer Relentless and a bubbly to be determined. I have no Cali bubbles in my cellar, so I hope a bottle of real Champagne will be permitted!! Wink

I'm in. Wine will definitely be TBD at this point. I don't have much of a cellar to draw on so I will see what I can scrounge up this weekend.

Shall we mix it up with a white or two to start (post bubbly)? Might open up the menu?

If so, put me down for a 2005 Kistler McCrea Vineyard Sonoma Mountain Chardonnay.

I'm out. My hockey game that was planned for Saturday is now Sunday.

I hope to swing March. Make sure to show Paul and Stef how we do things here with the MD group!

Bills have been introduced in both the House and Senate for the Maryland Wine Shipping law. I have posted some information in the buying and shipping forum. Our Senator signed on after we talked to him, so call and write your legislators.

If you are motivated to write a letter in support of the Md. wine bill, which is either HB-1260, or SB 616, you could write to:
Del. Tom Hucker
House of Delegates
Suite 220
6 Bladen Blvd
Annapolis, MD 21401
ATTN: Maria Topper
tom.hucker@house.state.md.us
If you email an attachment in "Word", it will be sent to the Senate committee.
The House committee is "Economic Matters" and has scheduled a hearing on 2/18 at 1PM. Letters should be received by them prior to that.
It costs nothing to express your opinion.

Good news, jfoobar. Look forward to meeting you. For your first offline, something like Eek this Eek would probably make a good impression!

I was going to pick up the case and let everyone take a bottle home with them...but if jfoobar is bringing it...I'll buy that Land Rover I wanted, instead. Smile
