Me too. I am uncomfortable asking my representatives to support legislation I haven't seen. I asked Scott Ehlers, the guy who runs the site for details. Since the legislation hasn't been introduced yet, all he's seen is a draft. A summary of major points can be found here. PH |

So then, the 24th it is!
PH (1-2) sarbuze (2) Gentleman farmer (1-2)? klymkev (1-2)? cometspider (1-2)? irwin (1-2)? Stefania Wine (2) Chime in to confirm when you can. Also your vote on theme! I'm voting Cali, only because we had French wine in January. PH |

Assuming "Cali" means any wine from California...here's another vote for Cali.
And we're confirmed for the 24th. Quickly, bring me a beaker of wine, so that I may wet my mind and say something clever. - Aristophanes foodandwineblog.com |

Festiva, please allow me to help you dealing with PH.
PH, Burgundy is a wine region in France, on the other side of the Atlantic. It without question produces the worlds finest Chardonnay, both oaked and non-oaked. It is also the finest producer of Pinot Noir in the world, with Oregon a distant second. Granted, the wines of Burgundy require a palate of great depth and discernment, but you should still give them a shot regardless. Patience will also reward with these wines. There Festiva, I hope I helped. |

Quite funny, W+A!!! Over the past few years, our MD group has been trying to teach PH a thing or two about wine. As you can tell, it's been a long, hard road! |

BTW, (speaking of Cali road trip venues) anyone want an allocation to Passport Weekend - you know where to find me [http://www.wdcv.com/]?

My wife and I might be game if the location is not a long trip from the inner harbor area...Id like to make one of these offline deals before we pack up her digs and relocate permanently to Kansas City....
Until I talk to her and find out the location we're a definite mabey...got loads of Cali... |

Dependent on a couple of other factors, I would probably be very interested in attending if you folks don't mind a new face.

No venue set, yet TXAGS. Folks, we really should talk about a place. This is going to be a pretty large group so we'll need some space. I don't want to overdo it at Cafe de Paris, but they have good food and a great room for us. Thoughts? PH |
