I will be in London on Sept. 18th and have the evening free. If anyone is available for an off-line you can respond here. I leave for Europe on Sept. 10 and will have spotty internet access while I am there. If you could respond by 9/10 it would be great.

Hello Longboarder, I guess this is pretty last minute, but I am available that night for an offline. I am pretty new to the boards but would like to meet up and have a glass or two. Let me know if you are interested. It might be a bit too late for any of the other london folk to get to you by tomorrow. You can email me if you like on bschandra1 at msn dot com

Have fun, guys!

Had a blast with the BirD in London on Friday. '78 Figeac and '01 Filhot were the WOTNs.

But the highlight was playing the British version of brother Grossie's infamous "wiffle ball in the alley". All I can say is it involves backyard floodlights at 2:00 AM, a cricket bat, and about 6 cans of tennis balls now residing in his neighbors' yards! Razz Big Grin Cool

Cheers,

Otis

Hello BirDungy, I sent you an email don't know if you received it or not. Just thinking about our offline and some possibilities. Send me back an email if you didn't receive mine at bschandra1@msn.com. Thanks.

I will have a '93 Roberto Voerzio Cerequio and a '97 Louis Latour Corton Grancey in tow. Let me know where, what time and which wine to bring. I will be able to get my emails tomorrow afternoon (London time).

Hi all

Emails received, have not booked any venue yet, still thinking about where and just plain busy.

If ok with you, I will probably figure out the where on Thursday - bobbyc, I'll email you with thoughts.

LB - both wines sound fabulous, bring both and we can make the call on the night!

BirD
