not to gloat or anything, but I have purchased the 2001 and 1995 vintage as well... |

Doesn't sound like gloating to me, mareff. Sounds like you're 'suggesting' we do a spread vertical of your Pavie Macquin at the offline. You'll find a receptive group to that! Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway. |

July 25 or 26 (we'll sort this out soon. Likely Friday the 25th).
This is coming up quickly, and several wines remain 'undeclared'. Uhem...just saying..you might want to give it some thought. TBD's: Could you confirm you're coming (I'm preparing to make firm reservations)? Place: Yo-Yo's Theme: Right Bank Bordeaux Attendees and declared wines: 1989 Chateau Pavie Macquin (mareff +1) 1996 Cheval Blanc (KSC02 +1) 1982 Chateau Figeac (KSC02 +1) 1988 Chateau Angelus (mimik) 1998 Canon La Gaffeliere (steve8 +1) TBD: (lovelandre +1) 1990 Chateau Trotanoy (Planowino +1) 1996 Chateau L'Evangile (Planowino +1) TBD: (Dr C +1) 1990 Krug (Baird +1) 1970 Croft (Baird +1) TBD: (Darcy Kelley) This message has been edited. Mareff,
I think that KSC02 is just being dilligent and professional by assuring that we are all still available whichever night is chosen. I know no one more professional than KSC02 (which speaks for the kind of people I know). Are we at nine pages yet? |

LOL You've pegged it! Just trying to bump along to get you your coveted 10 pages mareff. AND encouraging the stragglers to declare the bottles they're planning. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway. |

Who might you be referring to? OK, I'll declare one bottle, the 98 Canon La Gaffeliere. Still working on a second. |

THANK YOU, steve8. However, it wasn't just you I was referring to, clearly. However, do you realize you have now taken the, up til now, prize of declaring the youngest bottle? (just an observation, of course) Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway. |

I picked it so we could see how a bottle from the highly touted right bank vintage is doing. That's my story and I'm sticking with it. |

Now that we actually have some aged bordeaux, we could have joined in but we have exchange students from Japan for 10 days and either side of that weekend
But now I'm ready for the next one..... ------------------- Go Bruins!! Go Pistons!! Go Tigers!! |

We could probably come up a weekend in August, as long as it's not the last one.
