Right Bank sounds fantastic. However, let's maybe loosen it up a little to 'properly aged' Right Bank. This should allow enough latitude to bring out some varity across the vintages. Sound alright?

I DO have a 1996 Right Bank that has been suggested certainly ready to open. Fresh it will be, yes. But it should be just fine. Smile

I've no Right Bank '98's at all, my wise friend. Your "I see" has me a touch alarmed.

For good reason? Do tell. Smile

Miss M.= You've not had the pleasure of meeting the infamous W+A. Razz

FYI: At this time, the theme is DEFINATELY Right Bank and the Vintage is "AGED OPEN VINTAGE" meaning, any Vintage but one 'appropriately aged'. Smile

Yes, steve8 will need to dig down below his 2005's Big Grin

How do I wangle an invite to this off-line? I posted on March 2 hoping whoever was coordinating the party would take the hook. Alas, no bites. Thought I would try again and see about bringing my wife and daughter up for a few days to see Montreal (see my March 2 post). Off course if it is '47 & 49, wine+art will be the only attendee and you can forget my request.

I'm sure the generous W+A would be more than happy to 'loan' you a bottle PlanoWino. Big Grin Wink

Of course, consider yourself invited! Wink

Sorry for the lack of responding to you earlier. I saw your posting earlier (and the reference for a 15 year old. While I DO have a 15 year old daughter, I postponed answering your post until I could discuss her potential ability/desire to host your own daughter. BTW: No worries. My daughter is fluently Bi-Lingual.). We can try to work that out seperately. Shall we consider you 'in'?

Thus far:

THEME: AGED RIGHT BANK BORDEAUX

mareff +1
KSC02 +1
mimik
steve8 +1
MissMargaux +1
lovelandre +1
Planowino +1

Tentative:
Vinaigre +1
Dr.C +1

KS, Thank you, hard to know when someone is jokeing if you a)don't know them b)it's the internet.

Mimik, I get the feeling that Dr.C. asked for an invite for the Ottawa one?

Don't confuse me again. Not saying he doesn't want this one, but I saw him ask about the Ottawa one with no response to his request.

I'm letting all you experienced men work this out.

MissMargaux,

Trust me, W+A's joking is often juxtaposed to resolute. Wink

KSC02 - I would love to opt in. My wife and I have never been to Montreal and would love to visit. We can deal with the daughters at another time - just thought it might be fun.

So far, I get that this is a right bank tasting but I am not sure of the venue or the date (25 or 26) and where the optimal location to stay would be. Can you help so I can make travel arrangements for the family? Thanks.
