I am excited to try the 1999 Banfi. I purchased it up in Tuscany in the Spring of 2005.

We will likely bring -
2000 Fontanafredda Barolo La Villa
2001 Argiano Brunello di Montalcino
1998 Altesino Vin Santo d'Altesi

Maybe a 1997 Poggio di Soto Brunello -

Most of our others are hibernating in our offsite storage - We may throw a Priorat there as we are bringing for our entire group of 4 and a lot of our Italians are not ready.

Is anyone bringing Chianti Classico? If not, I have one or two bottles that should do the trick.

I haven't heard of anyone bringing Chianti Classico, so it sounds like this would definitely add to the whole experience.

I was thinking a Ruffino Oro, Querciabella, or Castello di Ama.

Keep us posted and let us know. If you can make it, it would be great to meet a former Salt Laker.

Looks right for us, still on the fence about the "zinger" - although I like the way you have phrased it.

I have not decided on wines yet. Perhaps something Italian and Spanish. I guess Spanish will be OK?

It appears that there are 10 of us??

Italian for sure, Spanish, I think that would be fine as well.

Do we have room for one more couple? My neighbor is a wine enthusiast, and he and his wife might like to join us.

Going with 2004 Vinyes Mas Romani Priorat Artigas as our 4th wine I believe. More the merrier as far as I am concerned - not sure about the reservation and the place etc. though
