Chicken feet is good for you, all the gelatinous stuff is good for your skin. Try duck tongue next time if you haven't, it's even better. Big Grin

This was the most fun at a LA/CRS offline I have had in so long! The thing about L.A.--we just don't do "normal" very well. We live in a vastly curturally diverse area and demographically we represent many walks of life--from the entertainment industry to blue collar, our little CRS group defies the parameters of a typical wine afficianado, and I love that! It makes sense that we need a more eclectic environment for our outre wine loving selves! Lets do more alternative things, a barbecue, a bonfire picnic at the beach or a dinner in little Ethopia (since we have an advantage and Bob can tell us all what pairs well with Zebra!).
I don't know if anyone else noticed this but the only domestic wine on the table was a 2001 Stony Hill Riesling (ick!, sorry) but what a camparison to the yummy 2001 ZH! And champagne, from Veuve to Gosset we had it covered.
Next time, I promise not to spit up Boba on myself, now who on God's earth thought that would be a good idea? And honestly, I didn't know Tapioca had balls! ISH! And chicken feet, Powell, sorry dude, they are all yours. I picked a toenail out of my mouth and it was all over! But those little lemon things were yum!

Okay, do you really not know what Boba is made of? Basically sweeten rice flour balls or something close to that...

Next time I show up down there, we'll have to do a dim sum off-line as well. I'll introduce you to duck tongue.

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEE BOBA!!!

Pinot Envy,
Boba balls are basically giant black tapioca balls that are dry and hard and smaller than when you get them in your drink. They boil them and toss on a little brown sugar for slight sweetness. They are sooooooooo good. Try them in a mango green iced tea or a black tea with honey and almond...I'm getting an orgasm just thinking about boba tea.
