My girlfriend and I are planning a quick trip to Chicago this weekend and was wondering if you wanted to get together this Sat evening for dinner in the heart of downtown somewhere for some food and vino? Email me at justinhome at msn dot com if you are interested. I do not have a reservation anywhere. Doing this last minute may be difficult as far as getting a saturday night reservation, but I thought I would give it a shot. Let me know if you have any restaurant ideas.

Sorry IW but my wife and I will be in San Francisco and Napa this weekend. Have fun.

Oh and Haggis moved to Hawaii about 6 months ago.

IW, check your MSN email account. I'll be in Louisville very soon so I sent you an email about having dinner.

VM- If you'd be so kind, report back and let us know if there are any "must do's" in SF (as it pertains to the wine and dine scene). My wife and I are planning a trip there in late April. Hoping to get to some wine stores while staying downtown. The Ferry Plaza Wine Merchant is decent, but haven't been in 2 years, so interested in what is new downtown. I hope you enjoy your trip.

Greetings from Sao Paolo, IW!

I'm coming home Saturday, but the wife has already scheduled dinner plans with one of her friends. I hope I can catch up with you next time around.

Cheers,

Otis

I would say the one must do is Gary Danko Restaurant. (SF) We went thought it was fantastic, better than French Laundry at a much much lower price.
