That would work for me. I have a handful to choose from and I'm sure we can work out the details if it comes together. Any other Atlanta members interested?

I'm w/G&PN - always looking for a reason to pop a cork or seven.
December is filling up w/Xmas party commitments (3rd thru 7th, 15th), but should be able to make other dates. We're in Alpharetta (Johns' Creek area); a downtowner wouldn't be out of the question w/proper planning.
Email me at bfrye at peachstate dot com.

snipes; How about the 8th? We have our company Xmas gathering Friday the 7th, and we're hosting a neighborhood party on the 15th, so the 8th looks as good as anything.
What part of town are you in? I'm in Alpharetta, G&PN is in Dunwoody, I believe greeny is the midtown area; it looks like a north perimeter area location would work best.

Sorry to post this question and run, but I have been in Argentina and Chile for the last 2 and half weeks. I am interested in being part of an offline, but the 8th might be little soon for me as I just got back today and it is xmas party season. What about an ATL offline to kick off 2008 in early- mid January? BTW, Snipes...is your last name Snipes? That is my wifes maiden name and she's from SC. I saw you posting in a thread about SC.
I was informed by my better half that I have a Christmas party to attend this Saturday night, so I'm out as well. The rest of December is open and we'll see what January brings. The Mrs. and I are expecting our first child next month so if the wife will let me out of the house for a few hours I'd be game.
ebrown35, snipes is an old nickname.

snipes, ebrown35, all; mid Jan sounds much better than this weekend, as biz travel and other engagements crowd the schedule. I'll start a little later this month putting together something for Jan. W/enough time, we should be able to get G&PN, Greeny, Dogue de Bordeaux, perhaps jackstraw, and a few others I see lurking here from time to time.
Snipes - congrats on the upcoming addition! Children do make great Xmas gifts.

Wouldn't dream of it. I'm going to try to pull something together for the 2nd or 3rd week of January.
Wifey was thinking Eno (Buckhead/Midtown?), I'm thinking more near the perimeter as it appears that most of the winos are from the great Piedmont plateau above the Northern Arc. The two times I've been involved w/offliners @ Highlife in P'tree Corners they've done an outstanding job, IMHO.

I'm down with the Hi Life, but can't commit to anything until the baby is born, which could be any day now. I'd prefer the 2nd weekend over the 1st weekend of Jan. Obviously the later the better. The wife doesn't think I'll be able to attend it regardless of the date. I'll bring the champagne if I get the hall pass.
