I want to make sure we hit a decent number for Twist. If Dave is willing to swap out wine too I can cover for a few more butts Smile

Looks like I'm going to be in the winery most of the day tomorrow. I have some topping up to do, but mostly I'll be waiting for a guy from the bottling company to come check on access. If anyone wants to stop by send me a note.

Paul, do you have an updated list of wines that are committed? I can likely fill some gaps here and there.

so depending on when I told you, this either starts at 5 or 6 Smile Offline organizing is not a strong point. Stef just got back from Davis, we'll be there about 5:15, but in all likelihood I told D 6.

I invited a few friends to fill us out and not let Twist down so we'll have a bonus round. I'm going to bring 4 vinatges of Match to add to the mix.

Paul and Stefania,

Thanks for putting this together. It was a pleasure meeting the faces behind the handles and seeing familiar ones again.

I have to admit, that I was clock watching the one behind the bar. I didn't realize until I was driving home that it hadn't been moved forward for daylight savings! So, instead of leaving at 8:20 it was 9:20. Oops!

So what happened to all those opened bottles of Lewelling that we didn't get around to?

Thanks everybody. I really enjoyed it!

That was a lot of fun, great seeing everyone and meeting some new faces.

Tanglenet - I don't know about the rest of them, but I grabbed the one full bottle of '01 Lewelling to enjoy with Teri tonight - she was pretty happy to hear the news Smile.

Yes, we had a great time last night.

Thanks again tlily and Stef for putting this together, it was great seeing/meeting everybody!

Just about everything was drinking well, and thanks again yhn for contributing the '89 Doisy. It was a treat to taste.

At least I told no one that it started at 7.

We rescued one metal wine tote and one yellow note book. To bad Gove could not join us, he had to cancel on Friday. It looked like a total of 7 bottles got recorked in some manner and sent out the door.

Yep, both were ours. Go ahead and chuck the notebook, unless you want to stare at my wife's lipstick blots, Wink.

And, keep the rack, or give it to someone. It wasn't very expensive, and I can pick up another one in Indy.

I don't remember half of those pics being taken!

We had the same problem as Tanglenet - we arrived home an hour late, and our babysitter wasn't exactly overjoyed.

Other than that it was a great night - nice meeting some new faces, and not one bad bottle on the table.

So has anyone posted the complete list of wines? I did my best over on Vinocellar, and I am happy to reproduce it here, but if someone has a comprehensive list from actual notes (as opposed to memory) that would be nice Smile
