When I was growing up in LA, you could take a helicopter from LAX to downtown and vice versa. I was just checking online but it looks like it has been discontinued.

FYI, Southwest has a 8:55pm from San Jose to LAX.

I was thinking of Larmendier Bernier NV, which I could just throw into my luggage or perhaps hit either the costco or Bevmo around Walnut Creek.

thirsty man,

If you fly into SJ between 4-5pm, I would be happy to pick you up and take you back to the SJ Airport for the 8:55 flight.

Indybob - I'll check on options, I don't think it will be a problem.

Quote from restaurant review in the Merc last week:

"Much like communism and the recent films of George Lucas, vegetarianism has no place in modern society."

Twist will be open just for us.

Thirsty man, it's just about 20 minutes from Twist to SJC for the 9PM flight. Terminal A is just about 15 minutes from drop off to gate on a Sunday night. You probably cold pull it off.

I thought it was a better Star Wars joke myself. But then I've been mostly eating fish since the new year. Smile

We are hosting two sets of guests this weekend. One Friday and the others on Saturday and into Sunday, along with an old friend who wants to do dinner Sunday night. Not that any of you need to or want to hear this.....

I'm on the fence. As much as I would love to do this, Sunday before I have to go stick needles in peoples mouths on Monday, coming off of a busy weekend isn't looking terribly appealing right now....

I would however love to meet some of you (indybob, mareff, others) and catch up with some old faces I haven't seen for a long time...Eric and Paul. I'm going to play it by ear. I don't have any Neal or Lewelling so I would be bringing something else anyway....that way nobody needs to count on my supplying the main event.

So much wine.....so little time!!!

So, which body piercing salon do you work in? Wink
Do what you gotta do, and hope to see you Sunday (any old [or suitable for DRABing youngster] Bdx you have lying around would probably be just fine). . . Smile

Tanglenet, we've got a list going on page two, for your Neal/Lew addition if you've got it.

Cheers!

You have me down for a 02 Neal SV, but it may make more sense to bring an 02 and 03 regular Neal Cabs. Please put me down for those.

I'm confused. Are we aiming for one or two bottles of each wine?

Do you want me to bring 2X Lewelling 2000 or a 2000 and a 2005?

Dave-

Yes

I'm organizing, do what ever the hell you want Big Grin

Actually I'll swap you out for my SCM for anything 'extra' you bring if you are up for that.

In that case I can probably provide up to 2 of each 2000/03/04/05 regular Lewelling bottlings to fill in the gaps.
