We should have room for 20-25 people total. Count on @ $60 per person. I believe it would be best if we could get 2 bottles of each vintage, but I'm not overly fussy about that. One bottle per person please. If you can't round up a Neal or Lewelling, there is always Champagne to start and something sweet to finish.
I'm game. Also, perhaps my spouse, although she's not a cab drinker.
I can bring 2 of the following:
2003 Neal Family Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherford Dust 2003 Neal Family Cabernet Sauvignon 2002 Neal Family Cabernet Sauvignon
or 1 of the following:
2002 Neal Family Cabernet Sauvignon Chafen 2002 Neal Family Cabernet Sauvignon Fifteen-Forty 2002 Neal Family Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain Estate 2002 Neal Family Cabernet Sauvignon One Lane Bridge 2002 Neal Family Cabernet Sauvignon Second Chance Vineyard 2002 Neal Family Cabernet Sauvignon Wykoff

Looks like the Lewelling will be sparse, but round-up-'able in the next six weeks.
Anybody interested in doing this thing blind? The Lewelling and Neal bottles are probably dissimilar enough to make a side by side comparison pointless, but perhaps we could bag up each vertical for year vs. year blind tasting?

As I posted in the other thread, I can bring to the table:
(1) 1999 Lewelling Cab (my last bottle) 2001 Lewelling (reg. or Wight) 2005 Lewelling (reg. or Wight)
Any Neal, reg. or SVD, from 2001 forward. I can also try to talk mark out of a couple bottles of the 2000 if the group wants to chip in to make it happen.

I'd love to join you all but that is the day that I will be driving home from World of Pinot Noir. I'll be lucky to be up before noon after their Saturday night Pali.

Thanks Paul...I was really considering this a few days ago but, I recently broke up with the fiancee. Though my postings here look like I'm okay, I don't know if I will be very good company.

Sorry for your situation, Jfont. Never an easy time.
What I can say is that, as much as it sucks right now (trust me, I've known the feeling), this will pass.
It's a funny thing, life. But in the past, when things like this have happened personally, a brighter door and greater opportunity was indeed ahead.
Just finished w/a Spring Mtn and Lewelling tasting day up here in Napa.. I am very envious of you folks doing you Neal/Lewelling offline... Should be a great time...
Cheers

Alright, twist my arm. Put me down, I arrive at noon, shoot up to Napa for a quick tasting and then head south to you guys.
Looks like there is some Neal here in NYC on wine-searcher but only one Lewelling, the 2005. Or I could bring champy, its up to any of you guys I am flexible. Hey Eric want to car pool out there? I will have a rental with a GPS so I could put it on auto pilot
