Mpls wine guy and mimik are having a offline at Edina country Club thursday 09/27/07 at 6:30 pm. At 5100 wooddale ave Edina Mn 55424. Free parking no corkage southern rhone wines, I work there and jacket and tie required but private dining with all Riedel Bordeaux glasses provided with china and silverware. Will be a great event. We will order off the menu. Great steaks. So far mimik+1, Mnpls+3, let's get some more!

I no longer live in Mpls, but if you can give me more heads-up next time (and consider a Fri/Sat), I'd gladly trek the 2.5 to 3 hours.

Thanks Monsant, I'll do a weekend next time. At the country club I work at there is no corkage fee for me and my guests and they provide all the riedel glasses too so It will be a great place to have offlines. Edina country club 5100 Wooddale ave Edina Mn, 55424 can be mapquest too.

Smokey let me know even if it's just four of us I can always have an offline at the country club I work at. Free parking, no corkage, private room with china and riedel glasses at no charge. Not over expensive with some food friendly dishes!

I second mpls wine guy's appraisal of the country club. The food is excellent, decor very nice, and the staff very courteous.
