We did... it was a real good time.

No plans for other NJ offlines, although there seems to some NJ people around. KB dropped off the board after this offline.

Go HOKIES!!!

What are all you Jersey folks up to on January 19th? This is the date of our neighborhood annual party that my neighbor Dave throws every year, and it's always a no holds barred all out wine fest. The party location is in Bordentown, NJ, which is exit 7 right off of the turnpike. From there it's about 2 miles to the party.

Last year we opened upwards of 160 bottles, and I have no idea how many people were there. I would guess 50-70, but it's a revolving door all night long.

Lots of non-wino's show up with odd bottles and bottles that you just look at and laugh. Last year there were a few Yellow Tail, Two Buck Chuck, Jacob's Creek, Boone's Farm, Jersey & Pennsylvania wines, etc. But there are a handful of us that like the good juice, and we open some special bottles.

That being said, I extend the invitation to the locals on the board. Come one come all. Dave puts on a great spread and makes pounds of filet mignon on the grill, as well as an impressive assortment of cheese, grapes, other fruits, etc. He is also an amazing Italian chef, and makes some pasta's that are to die for. My wife will also be helping him with his prep work the day before, so it will be an impressive spread once again.

That said, e-mail me if you are interested in coming. mark DOT jahnke AT us DOT af DOT mil

Hope to see some of you! Who's in? mwagner? purple haze?

I'd love to make this one. Sounds like a fun day. Probably not in the cards for me this year though.... Frown

Hey!

As for NJ offlines, the ePantload board seems much more active for those.

I've met some of the yahoo's on that board and would much rather stick to inviting the folks off of here. Razz

Surprised there's no takers. Everyone must be busy...
