I live in Seattle and have always wanted to do one of these offlines. There's a decent chance I will be out of town that week but if I am here I would love to join you.

That's a Tuesday to Saturday. When are you planning to head back-- Sunday, perhaps?

Saturday would be the only night that's fairly easy for us to drive down. As it turns out, however, my wife has a conference to attend in Victoria Oct. 23-24, and I am expected to go along as her designated banker. Another time, hopefully. Do you get to Seattle often (I'm assuming it's on business)? There's a great bunch of wine lovers there; I'm surprised more of them haven't chimed in yet.

I don't have plans to be anywhere else but Seattle that week.
I'd be willing to host if the attendance numbers don't get out of control.
If anyone wants to join me for steak and wine this very weekend, meaning tomorrow, Saturday, email me at papeduneuf at G mail . you know the ending.

So,
I'm not the best with dates and planning, does anyone have a preferred day? Flop has a conflict on Thursday. I'm OK with any day. They all have the same number of hours.

Unless I hear otherwise, I'll start planing for Friday.
If that is settled, we can start on a theme. How about, NW takes on the world, featuring TBD grape? Not anything white, or else we will forfeit.
