If I win the lottery over the next four weeks, count us in for two! Wink

Someone's gotta bring some port - 95 points or better! (and no 1985s unless it's Fonseca)

Tsunami, DUDE, are you going to be on the East Coast at all during your time in the USA? I'd LOVE to chat with you about Hungarian Tokaji if it can be worked out that you'll be on the East Coast at all and we can meet. Cool

grunhauser, I don't mean to speak for Btscott, but I can assure he is not kidding - what's wrong with that? There are plenty of great places in SF that serve a mix of foods friendly to all preferences...

Who else is in? You can't pass an opportunity to meet the master of graeemlins from the dark side of the moon! Eek Big Grin Smile Cool Eek Wink

Eric, what does it look like you are planning? I've got that day slated for repairing deer fencing, drip systems and some green pruning. Might be able to make it if it's casual enough for work boots and dirty jeans.

grunhauser, as Eric stated I wasn't joking. My wife and I have been vegetarians for 15 years. SF is a great place to meet everyone needs. Just wanted make sure it wasn't going to be held at a steakhouse...

Skwid party of one. I think I can bring a bottle of Port.

Btw, unless we were to go to a Steakhouse most fine restaurants would accomadate btscott fairly easily.

Eric, where will we be dining?

i find it amusing, forgive me. not the fact that someone is vegetarian, but that it becomes a precondition to meeting someone, especially in this case.

p.s. btw, Tsunami, you can't find a smoking section in CA , even if you wanted too. quite different story in Vegas. Big Grin

I have no problem meeting people. However when dinner is involved I typically like to eat. Being a vegetarian I don't expect that wherever is chosen be 100% vegi, but do expect there is at least a couple of things on the menu that my wife and I can eat. My apologies for such an outlandish request...

We could also try A-16. I was at a party last weekend where people were talking about it. I'm sure wherever you choose will be perfect.

I am in Big Grin. A-16 might not be the best venue for this Frown. Great restaurant though Cool. All banquette seating and VERY loud Confused.
