Any chance of making it back for the next one? I've managed to forget how long you said you were going to be away.

My doc said drinking wine is good for me, so I plan to follow instructions to the tee.

At the moment, I anticipate being back to SD in 2-3 weeks timeframe.

In the meanwhile, if things go according to plan (see other thread), I'll be overnighting to you a few bottles for "safe keeping" in the interim, if I may be allowed to impose. Just the sight of the bottles will be enough to want to start sleeping out in the garage. It's THAT good.

If things get more serious, I'll be calling you.

Now that's a good doc, but I could think of some local docs who might give the same advice. Smile

And no prob if you need the storage. Just give me a call, or e-mail, first since it would be best to send them to my wife's work, if shipping.

I had fun Tuesday, Clayfu. Caleb, Annie, Whine-oh and me went to Wine Steals (sort of like 3rd corner)and had a bottle of Chardonnay and Lemberger. Then we went to Apertivo. Cool place, inexpensive and good. Love the corkage policy and the jovial owner that can't wait to talk wine. We brought in a Barbaresco and Crozes-Hermitage. I overindulged in food though, I think I will never learn.

Hopefully Skeleton Boy's tasting notes will follow from Tuesday night.. maybe he can text them whilst driving back to the right coast.... Another fun affair... although Wed. was a bit rough on the body, a good night was had by all... Can't wait to hear the chatter about the next offline... Cheers..
