Friday April 23- Sunday April 25th – The 19th Annual Great Wine Seminar
If you only make it to one wine event all year this one is it. This
seminar features several once in a lifetime tasting opportunities crammed
into one weekend at the Wyndham Grand Bay Hotel in Coral Gables,
featuring an all-star cast of producers moderated by Roger Bohmrich, Master
of Wine, currently serving his second term as President of The Institute
of Masters of Wine (North America) Ltd. In 1993, roger distinguished
himself as 1 of 17 Americans to obtain the Master of Wine qualification.
We start this weekend with Friday nights seminar “A study in
Richbourg”, with an all star line-up including: Domaine de la Romanee-Conti,
Leroy and Meo-Camuzet (to name a few) spanning the course of five decades.
Then on Saturday morning we will travel to Burgundy with special guest
Christophe Roumier from Domaine Georges Roumier featuring a mind
blowing array of wines including Bonnes Mares, Chambolle Musigny and others
coming direct from the Domaine’s Cellars. For lunch we move on to a
vertical selection of Chateau Palmer from Margaux, presented by Bernard de
Laage de Meux and then on to Germany with the wines of Egon
Muller-Scharzhof presented by none other than Egon Muller himself. Dinner on
Saturday evening features returning chef Eberhard Mueller and some
astounding wines (1983 Palmer). Sunday morning we wake up to over 100 years of
Niepoort with the proprietor of the estate Dirk Van Der Niepoort and to
cap the weekend off a selection of Delamain Cognac. If you book before
