mmmm, grilled pinot. i'm in. Wink

will bring a couple cheeses and a baguette, if you'd like.

and are we bagging these suckers or just drinking? maybe we'd like to save the blind theme for a larger offline.

appreciate you hosting, jace, especially on a holiday weekend.

lastly, what time should we arrive?

Is 7:00 too early, or late?

Very sorry to do this, but we're not gonna make it. I have had a upper respiratory infection the last couple days that is getting worse, not better. I had dreamed that I would wake up today and it would be gone...not a chance.

Even if I could drink wine, it would be useless as I can't taste much (my only wine on Thanksgiving was a Robert Mondavi Merlot!).

That said, looking forward to getting better and seeing everyone next week!

Sorry to hear Mike, and its your own thread too! Next time; Keith we are still on, I'll call a couple of (other) locals and we'll start a sub-Cru! Let's make it 6, then...

In other news...it took Kim and I (and the dogs) 11 hours to get back from Connecticut just now..so we wouldn't have made it back in time anyways (we planned for 6-7 hours!).

Looking forward to seeing everyone next week!

Took me 8 from Stamford. It has never been that bad in the 6 years I have been making that trek.

I will leave on Saturdays from now on.

Of course I did. Big one coming up Sunday.

And my 8 hour drive was a bit easier to take as I listened to the Skins slowly fade away!
