The French Wine Society is hosting a big Bordeaux shin-dig at the French embassy on October 11th, 2007. We'll have about 100 wines available for sniffing, savoring and tasting, along with a "Classified Growth" tasting bar where purchases of the wines many of us dream about can had for a minimal cost. We'll also have about 10 French restaurants in attendence to pair with the many wines. A short seminar will be offered at the begining of the event covering the diverse terroir, appellation system and the ins and outs of what Bordeaux is all about.

Here's the link if you'd like to come: www.frenchwinesociety.org -- click on the calendar of events or the big logo of the event.

When learning about wine, France is the benchmark. It is where the ingenu starts and the expert finishes...

Taste the diversity, savor the culture.
Experience France in your glass!
