Staying at the City Center Marriot Nov 13 (Tue)and 14 (Wed). I can do either night, just have to keep one free for the day job.

Anyone up for a 'non-poll' offline?

I'm in town those dates unless something odd happens. I should be able to make it assuming we can come up with a decent venue.

Oh! That Tom. I don't think he is on the WS board. He is on the CT board. Email would obviously be the most direct route.

14th? Seems to be my best day. Any suggestions on a venue or what I should bring along?

DARN, I'm out of town on the 14th.

If the 13th opens up, please let me know.

Be well, Paul.

Sent a note to Joe and the 13th is perfectly doable. Have a venue suggestion W+A?

Paul & Joe,

Are you all wanting a BYOB place, or good with any venue?

Please advise.

I hear BYOB is hard, but if we could swing that I'll bring something along, otherwise I'm doing all carry on for this trip.

Paul, completely your call.

It is a question of food or wine imo. The finest chef owned restaurants do not allow BYOB, but we do have BYOB if you want to focus on wine.

WIML, I have a business dinner tomorrow night and a flight out early on Wednesday morning.

Please keep me in the loop ( text or email) for this dinner Tuesday night.

Busy week ahead.

Paul,

Do you have a preference for what part of the world our wine is from for Tuesday night?

Australia or Zinfandel is fine with me Big Grin

But really - let's do Italian/Tuscan if that works for everyone.

Darn, I was hoping to get some of that stuff out of my cellar.

Works for me. I'm guessing I will grab a Solaia or Sassy. Need to see what is in my cellar at home.

Joe thanks for taking the lead on this and pulling it together. The very best thing about this forum is being able to wiggle out of one night of 'work dinners' and have wine with fellow wine geeks when you're on the road. It was great to see old friends again and make a few new ones. I even put on my good shoes for the event Wink

Which by the way in the elevator in the hotel this evening a small group was discussing dinner plans. The youngest girl asked "Are flip flops ok?" and I butted in and said "No". I'm sure they thought I was an a-hole but I'm also sure she didn't wear them.
