I hear BYOB is hard, but if we could swing that I'll bring something along, otherwise I'm doing all carry on for this trip.

It is a question of food or wine imo. The finest chef owned restaurants do not allow BYOB, but we do have BYOB if you want to focus on wine.

WIML, I have a business dinner tomorrow night and a flight out early on Wednesday morning.

Joe thanks for taking the lead on this and pulling it together. The very best thing about this forum is being able to wiggle out of one night of 'work dinners' and have wine with fellow wine geeks when you're on the road. It was great to see old friends again and make a few new ones. I even put on my good shoes for the event

Which by the way in the elevator in the hotel this evening a small group was discussing dinner plans. The youngest girl asked "Are flip flops ok?" and I butted in and said "No". I'm sure they thought I was an a-hole but I'm also sure she didn't wear them.
